Top 5 Favorite Characters.

Putting characters in order is really hard. I know last time I was asked who my favorite character was, I said Jaime because he is indeed one of my favorites…I just don’t like ordering them. It’s like when people ask me who my best friend is. There is no way I can really just name one!

Anyways, here are some of my favorite characters, post-FFC.

Jaime Lannister. I already spoke about this. He really did save countless lives at the end of the War of the Usurper, and yet he is tormented by that act for the rest of his life. He does terrible deeds throughout his life, even attempting to kill a young boy. However, we see his character progress from an unlikable and rash “golden knight” to one who is just trying to save his tarnished name and establish a semblance of peace in his life. Really complicated stuff.

Sansa Stark. She starts off as this snobby, stuck-up little “princess,” living in a fairy-tale world, but she has to grow up very quickly. She has to deal with her father’s death, separation from her family, and torment at the hands of her former love. She hears about the deaths of basically everyone she has ever loved, and she emerges as a completely different character. She is still a young girl, but she is beginning to grow into something more. I am excited to see where she goes.

Petyr Baelish. What is this guy up to? The conniving, sneaky bastard has his own plans in this little game, but what are they? We know they involve Sansa and three queens, but really, we don’t know anything. Only Littlefinger knows what Littlefinger is up to, and that’s the magic behind this guy.

So these are the characters I think are really cool and have lots of potential.

I am entirely too excited to see Lord Commander Jon Snow, exile Tyrion Lannister, and rising Queen Daenerys Targaryen in Dance with Dragons in 8 days!!! So, at the moment, those are the characters most likely to become my favorite.

I’m also obsessed with Margaery Tyrell, because she really would make a great queen and I want to see what will happen to her. I also like the Martells and I can’t wait to see more of them. I think that’s it for now, but I’ll probably think of more soon enough. Oh…and where is Varys? Going off to help Daenerys?
